STRING BOX - CONTEXT AND OVERVIEW
The solar sector is booming in Brazil and has been modernizing rapidly thanks to technological advances. SNEF Brasil , in 2017, signed its first supply contract in the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) mode and started operating in < strong> photovoltaic solar energy with its first centralized plant (100 MWp).
The company has already developed more than 270 MWp of photovoltaic projects, from centralized projects to small plants and, currently, it occupies a prominent position in Brazil with two large projects in progress, of more than 300 MWp.
SNEF Brasil has a warehouse in Rio Claro, in the interior of São Paulo, for the assembly of string boxes (junction boxes) 1000 or 1500 VDC. The boxes are assembled according to the ABNT NBR IEC 60439-1 / 2 Standard with tests carried out in a national accredited laboratory INMETRO .
